Berla Mundi is a multiple award-winning Broadcast Journalist, with a burgeoning brand presence across the African continent. With a sole objective to become a leading Global Media mogul, Berla has meticulously cemented her position as the go-to event host, becoming the first Ghanaian to compere the Global Citizen Concert in Accra in 2022, alongside Hollywood actor, Danaiah Gurira, and again in Paris in June 2023, alongside many Global activists, Billie Eillish, John Batiste, H.E.R, Common and many more.

With a keen interest in youth development, she’s dedicated her platform to inspiring change by leading a new generation of bold and assertive women, ready to pursue their dreams relentlessly. She does this through her mentorship and career guidance project: ’B.You by Berla Mundi’, which hosted it’s maiden women’s conference in June 2022. Their goal for 2024 is to set up STEM villages to develop underprivileged girls in the field.

Recently, she was honored with the Young Achiever Award at the EMY Awards for her phenomenal work in the youth space. She was also honoured with the Young Star award at the Women of the Year Honours in 2021, and listed as one of four leading media women in Ghana, and one of the 50 Influential Young Africans, after successfully moderating Columbia University’s 16th Annual Africa Economic Forum in the USA in 2019, where she interacted with CEOs from some of the world’s largest Technology companies, IBM, Microsoft, and Chevron, on ‘The role of technology in developing a sustainable African economy’.
