The vibrant Media Personality is fast becoming a global brand, having performed incredibly as host of the 2019 EU-GH Business Forum which focused on job creation for Ghana’s youth and a strengthened partnership between European and Ghanaian businesses. The forum was attended by dignitaries from the European Union and some government officials including the EU Ambassador to Ghana, Diana Acconcia, and Minister for Trade and Industry, Alan Kyeremanteng.
Berla Mundi has firmly positioned herself as a youth leader, developing interests in female empowerment, youth advocacy, and sustainable development projects across the continent. She currently runs ‘B.YOU BY BERLA MUNDI’ a mentorship and career guidance program for young girls in Ghana and has secured internship opportunities, scholarships, and media training for young girls. She also partnered the University of Central Oklahoma for their ‘Education in USA’ forum in Ghana that garnered hundreds of attendees, as well as MZUZAH Africa’s sustainable development educational summits in Accra and the USA.
Her interest in operating her own youth advocacy program began after she launched and spearheaded ‘The Live Girl Code Project’ a campus event for young women, under Live 91.9fm (where she worked as host of the after-drive).
